Meredith Drum creates video essays, mobile media documentaries, narrative fictions and interactive cinematic installations. Residencies at the Bronx Museum of the Arts and ISSUE Project Room, as well as grants and fellowships from the University of California Institute for the Arts, the Flaherty Film Seminar and the Experimental Television Center have supported her work. She is a 2010-11 HASTAC Scholar. Her projects have recently exhibited at the Bronx Museum of the Arts; the Scope Art Fair; Anthology Film Archives; Participant Inc; Fales Library at NYU; and other venues in New York City. Internationally her work has also recently screened at the Museo Valenciano de la Ilustración y la Modernidad, Valencia, Spain; Focus 09, Voltahalle, Basel; the Festival International de l’Image Environnementale, Paris; (Re-) Cycles of Paradise, Mexico City; and been published online on the New York Times Tmagazine and Good Magazine. She also enjoys programming film and video screenings.
