Mark Dzula is a freelance educator and musician. Although his background is in music education, Mark has a fondness and passion for the visual arts; he teaches with many museums and cultural institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Noguchi Museum, the Metropolitan Opera Guild, and the San Diego Museum of Art. Mark is a director of Jukebox Radio, a children's performance group that employs projections, shadow puppets, and music to create customized shows for family events and children's programs at museums. He also teaches at Teachers College and is pursuing a doctorate in Communications and Education. His research interests focus on the arts as modes of communication, technology's relationship to art practice, and the potential implications of the arts and technology in education for equity.
