Adi Kamdar is a senior at Yale University majoring in History of Science, History of Medicine with a focus on the history of technology. He is on the board of directors of and founded the Yale chapter of the international not-for-profit group, Students for Free Culture, which advocates openness and access to culture and knowledge. Basically, he likes anything related to the Internet, culture, and law. Most recently, he was an activism intern with the Electronic Frontier Foundation. He has also worked with the Open Video Alliance on both Open Video Conferences, and he was a summer intern at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society. Adi serves on the Steering Committee for the Right to Research Coalition, a collection of student groups dedicated to promoting Open Access to scholarly works.
